Isolated rainfall likely in northwest India

PUNE : Under the influence of the ongoing western disturbance, widespread precipitation activity is likely over western Himalayan region and Isolated to scattered rain/thundershower is also likely over parts of plains of northwest India during next 24 hours.

Fog/Shallow fog conditions prevailed over parts of Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, north Rajasthan and Bihar. Fog/Shallow fog conditions are likely to continue over the above regions mainly in morning hours during next 1-2 days.

Minimum temperatures were above normal by 5-9° C over most parts of Rajasthan west Madhya Pradesh and by 3-5°C over plains of northwest India and east Madhya Pradesh. Current Meteorological Analysis suggests that they are likely to fall after 24 hours

Fall in minimum temperatures is likely over northwest India and adjoining areas of east and central India.

NORTH WEST INDIA

Rain/snow is likely at few places over Jammu & Kashmir,Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand during next 24 hours and mainly dry thereafter. Rain/thundershower is likely over at isolated Places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and west Uttar Pradesh during next 24 hours and mainly dry thereafter.
